What happens in Vegas
stays in its light,
An illusion of wealth, neon bright.
Marketing's charm, to entertain the masses,
With promises wild, as the roulette wheel passes.
Vegas, born from the dreams of the lost,
A money machine, counting the cost.
Few leave rich, many entrapped,
In fun's embrace, in glamour wrapped.
Twenty-dollar beers, parking fees,
Where once was free, now comes with keys.
Sidewalks of drink, public yet not,
Private domain, where rules are wrought.
Flashing lights, a lure of gold,
Casinos' promise, stories untold.
Sex with strangers, the night's highlight,
Ladies waiting in bar’s dim light.
Patrons drunk, their senses dim,
Unaware of the coming grim.
Rooms cleaned out, riches taken,
Victim left, dazed and shaken.
The lady returns, to hunt once more,
A new victim, as before.
Vegas shines, its light so bright,
